Local celebrities help raise the walls

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - WANE-TV’s Alyssa Ivanson joined many other local female celebrities Tuesday to work together to build a home for one Fort Wayne family. They joined dozens of other women as part of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program, and helped raise the walls to a new home for Nyo Nyo Soe.

Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program allows women to work together and be trained to build a house on their own.

Lowe’s provided a $75,000 grant to help build Soe’s home.
