FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A firefighter received minor injuries while fighting a fire at a vacant house on Lillie Street Tuesday morning.

Fort Wayne Fire crews were called to the scene around 8:00 and were able to extinguish the fire before 8:20.

While on the scene, one firefighter received lacerations when a piece of glass from a window was knocked into the air by a fire hose.  The injuries were considered minor.  No one else was hurt.

Lillie Street was closed between Baxter St. and Rudisill Blvd. while crews were on the scene but has since re-opened.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
