Just days away from the November election, what is the state of America? News Channel 15 asked that question one year ago in our series, "Saving America: 28 Ideas in 28 Days."
In the month-long series, people from all sectors of society weighed in with their thoughts on the state of our nation.
News Channel 15's Pat Hoffmann headed back to King's Barber Shop on the corner of Anthony and Pontiac to check in with Lewis King.
A year ago, King said he could feel the pulse of the community from customers in his chair and it wasn't beating as fast as it once was.
