KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WANE) - Land line telephone service around the Kendallville area has been restored, according to Noble County officials.
Officials do not know what caused the outage, but said residents can now call 911 and non-emergency numbers with either land line or cell phones.

Noble County officials are alerting Kendallville area residents of a lane line phone outage.
According to a release, lane line phone service is not functioning properly around the Kendallville area.
The release is asking the public to use cell phones for any emergency calls. Cell phone service is operating normally.
The Noble County Sheriff's Office is fully operational and can take any emergency calls.
Residents with a non-emergency are asked to call: (260) 636-2182.
