Junior League hosts A Night to Sparkle

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Junior League of Fort Wayne celebrated more than 70 years of service in the Fort Wayne community by hosting "A Night to Sparkle" fundraiser on Saturday.

The event was held at the Allen County Courthouse in downtown Fort Wayne. More than 200 people were there.

The event featured a silent auction and live music from the West Central Quartet. There was also drinks and hors d'oeurves from Club Soda

Bliss Cook, one of the events chairs said, "[The Junior League of Fort Wayne has] given almost a million dollars back to the community through our different projects. We promote volunteerism, develop the potential of women and improve our community through the trained action of our volunteers.

Proceeds from Saturday's event go to the JLFW, a non-profit organization.
