AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) - A public hearing was postponed for two police officers in Auburn who were challenging their terminations.

The police chief says they were involved in inappropriate behavior.

According to our partners at the News Sun, Corporal Brett Browand and Officer Chris Pongratz were allegedly involved in a physical relationship with an 18-year-old woman.

That woman is part of the department's "Pathfinders Program."

The department says both officers have a history of in-appropriate behavior, like having sex with women while on duty.

The hearings will be rescheduled for October 12 and October 19. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
