FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Bridge painting will affect traffic on the directional ramp from eastbound Lafayette Center Road/northbound I-469 to northbound I-69 starting Tuesday, August 28.
There will be a speed limit enforced of 35 MPH on this ramp during work hours. The ramp also will have a yield sign for traffic merging onto northbound I-469. Drivers should be aware of intermittent lane restrictions on northbound and southbound I-469 at this location, under the direction of traffic control devices such as arrowboards and barrels.
In general, northbound and southbound I-469 drivers and northbound I-69 drivers using this interchange should slow down, drive with caution and be expected to change lanes and yield to traffic having the right-of-way.
Work is expected to be complete by late September, and all work is weather permitting.
