House damaged in early morning fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A house on Euclid Ave. was damaged after it caught on fire early Friday morning.

Firefighters were called out to the fire at 3422 Euclid Ave. around 5:45 a.m.

It took crews about 15 minutes to get the fire under control.

Fire officials at the scene said the fire was in the back of the house, in the garage and kitchen area.

Officials said two people were home when the fire started, but they were able to get out safely.
