KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WANE) - It's bluegrass time again in Kendallville. The 36th annual Bluegrass Festival kicked off Thursday at the Noble County Fairgrounds.
Several bands from around the country are scheduled to play on the main stage over the weekend, but that's not the only music people will hear.
"We've also got lots of great pickin' out here around the park. Folks that come out like to just tool around the park, see who's pickin'. Lot of people camping and also doing some grilling out while they listen to music in the background," Joe Steiner, with the Northern Indiana Bluegrass Association, said.
Workshops were also held Saturday morning for people to learn more about their instruments. The Bluegrass Festival takes place every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
