Hayhurst rallies for support

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Marlin Stutzman's opponent for the U.S. Representative seat for the 3rd District, Tom Hayhurst is making a last minute push for support.  Dr. Hayhurst said he'll do all he can to get out the vote at a press conference at his campaign headquarters at 1000 Airport North Office Park (Suite A) in Fort Wayne Thursday.

“We know thousands and thousands of voters out there who are strong supporters we just want to make sure we get them to the polls whether it's in their own car, or we'll give them ride or we'll find a horse or a horse and buggy. We'll get them to the polls one way or another,” said Hayhurst.

Hayhurst also said choosing Stutzman is like electing Mark Souder.

“Mr. Stutzman and Mr. Souder are of the same cloth. I believe we're gonna have a similar problem with them looking the other way while more and more jobs get chipped out of the area. I'm gonna fight in a variety of ways I've talked about throughout the campaign,” said Hayhurst.
