Girls compete for Miss Fort Wayne title

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Several girls were competing for a chance to earn the title of Miss Fort Wayne Sunday afternoon.

The girls were judged on talent, answering questions, swimsuits, evening gowns and a private interview.

"We're looking for someone who is really going to go out into the community, make a difference, help out, be a positive role model and really get involved with Fort Wayne," said Jessica Butler, a former Miss Fort Wayne.

There were several different pageants, based on different age groups.

This year's Miss Fort Wayne is Jessica Leedy. She will now compete for the Miss Indiana title in June.The first runner-up for Miss Fort Wayne is Christine Borne.

In the Miss Fort Wayne Outstanding Teen category, Ashley Zeiner took the title. Colleen Grady was the first runner-up.

Maddison Bryan is the new Miss Fort Wayne Pre-Teen. Caitline Marie Southern was the first runner-up.

Kennedy Barry is this year's Junior Miss Fort Wayne. Amber Jolie Nicole Boggs was the first runner-up.

For the Little Miss Fort Wayne, Sophia Ruble took the title. The first runner-up was Hailey Pushis.
