Girl Scout Cookie sales begin Friday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - 2013 marks the 100th year anniversary for Girl Scout Cookies. The cookies go on sale starting Friday, January 11.

Girl Scout Cookies cost $3.50 per box and come in eight different flavors:

  • Thin Mints
  • Shortbread
  • Peanut Butter Patties
  • Peanut Butter Sandwiches
  • Caramel deLites
  • Thanks-A-Lot
  • Lemonade
  • Mango Cremes

The new Mango Creme cookie combines a crispy cookie with the taste of island mango.

Click here to find a cookie booth near you, or to participate in our Cookie Share program; which provides cookies to military troops and personnel.

The cookies will be on sale through March 12.

You can also give blood during the "Give Blood. Get a Cookie." blood drive on Friday January 11 from 1 to 6 p.m. Donors will receive Girl Scout cookies in the refreshment area after giving blood.

The Girl Scout Fort Wayne Leadership & Learning Center is located at 10008 Dupont Circle Drive East.
