GARRETT, Ind. (WANE) - The Garrett Police Department said the 22-year-old girl who had been missing since Saturday evening has been found safe.

Police said Ashley Frost was found with a friend Monday morning at a motel in Fort Wayne.

Officials said she was never in any danger, she just hadn't been in contact with family.

Police said Frost had dropped her child off at her boyfriend's parents' house on County Road 31 just outside Waterloo Saturday around 5 p.m.

She sent someone a text message Sunday morning, but that was the last time family had heard from her before she was found Monday morning.
