FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne Trails, Inc. is hosting the fourth annual "Get Caught on the Trails" event Saturday, June 4th from 2-4pm.
Volunteers from the 2010 Get Caught on the Trails event will hand out free t-shirts to trail users.
The event location is intentionally wide reaching - anywhere on the 61 miles of Fort Wayne Trails - and is open to all trail users.
In celebration of National Trails Day, volunteers along Fort Wayne's greenways and trails will surprise users with free t-shirts, water bottles, and other gifts.
The event is free, no registration is required and all are welcome. Come rain or shine.
"There's great enthusiasm building around the Get Caught event. We're thrilled people remember it so positively from years past and that newcomers are excited to take part," said Lori Keys, Executive Director of Fort Wayne Trails. "We're so thankful to our event sponsors and the many volunteers helping to make this event possible. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the trails every day but this event is especially fun. So walk, run, wheel or ride on the trails and you might be lucky enough to get 'caught' and receive one of the many cool give-aways!"
Giveaways include t-shirts, organic produce and water from Green B.E.A.N. Delivery, and coupons from Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches.
