Garage catches fire on Bowser Avenue

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to a garage fire Monday night.

Shortly before 11 p.m., firefighters arrived to a home in the 4200 block of Bowser Avenue near McKinnie Avenue and found a detached garage fully engulfed in flames.

The fire did not spread to the house or any surrounding structures. Firefighters had the fire under control in about ten minutes.

The garage sustained heavy fire, smoke, and water damage, according to a fire department report.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
