FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - American Airlines and US Airways announced Thursday they will merge in an $11 billion deal that would create the world's biggest airline.
Leaders at the Fort Wayne International Airport say passengers are still able to use the American Airlines website to book their and ticket and mange their travel.
Jessica Miller, Marketing and Air Service Specialist at FWA, said you won't see much of a change in Fort Wayne.
"What the merger does for us though is opens up new possibilities to the East Coast to places we don't currently service," Miller said.
