Frontier reported large service outage

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Frontier Communications sent an alert about a large service outage in the Fort Wayne area on Wednesday evening around 6:00 p.m.

According to Frontier, there was an automobile accident late Wednesday afternoon near the Georgetown area.  Because of that accident, Frontier customers in that area may experience outages in their internet and television services.

Frontier had crews at the scene attempting to make repairs shortly after the accident.
