Fmr. teacher pleads guilty to sexual misconduct

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A former East Allen County Schools teacher who was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy, pled guilty Thursday morning.
Kristi Metzger originally entered a not guilty plea in her November trial. After testimony from the boy, the trail ended in a hung jury.
She pled guilty to sexual misconduct with a minor, which is a class B felony. As part of the plea deal, Metzger will receive a 10 year suspended sentence, four of those years she'll spend on probation. She'll also have to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
Metzger will be back in court in March. That's when the judge will decide to either accept the plea agreement or deny it.
