WAYNEDALE, Ind. (WANE) - Waynedale parents have the opportunity to receive a free professional photograph of their child on Saturday and Sunday.

The Waynedale News and the Waynedale Walgreen's are hosting the event along with George Powell Photography. Powell is offering his services to the Waynedale community for those who can't afford to purchase photographs.

By offering the free sessions, organizers said parents will be equipped with up-to-date photographs in the event of a child going missing or being abducted.

Pictures will be taken at the new Waynedale News building on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m.

The Waynedale News building is located at 2505 Lower Huntington Road, across from the Waynedale BMV.

Parents will receive a digital copy as well as a 4x6 photo of your child. The offer is first-come first-serve.

For more information, contact The Waynedale News at (260) 747-4535.
