The Hoosier Lottery will be giving away 500  Powerball tickets Wednesday morning in Fort Wayne.  The jackpot for the multi-state lottery is $500 million.  That's up from $425 million earlier in the day.

One ticket will be given out to the first 500 people that visit the Ricker's  located at 5823 Coldwater Road.  An individual ticket normally costs $2.00.  Free tickets will only be given to those who are at least 18 years old.  The giveaway starts at 6 am.

Wednesday's Powerball drawing will take place at 11 pm.  The cash value of the jackpot is an estimated $327 million.
