FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne woman turned 106 years old on Thursday, October 4 and celebrated her birthday on Sunday surrounded by her family.

Mildred "Millie" Robillard had a birthday party at the Ashton Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center that included a cake, presents, and old photo albums.

Four of the five generations in Millie's family were represented at the party. Millie's sister is 103 years old.

When asked what Millie's secret to a long life was, she said she was blessed to be surrounded by a great family who helps take care of her.

Millie was born in Fort Wayne, then moved to Louisiana. She came back to Fort Wayne about 20 years ago and has lived here since. She is a golf fanatic.
