FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A long-time resident of Fort Wayne, who once entertained former president John F. Kennedy in her home during his campaign visit to Fort Wayne, celebrated her 105th birthday on October 4.
Rosalie Hasley has lived in the apartments of Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community for almost 13 years.
The retirement home held a reception in the Gathering Room at Saint Anne's at 2:00 p.m. on October 4.
Hasley was born and raised in the state of Washington, but later moved to South Bend where she attended college at Saint Mary's. She received a degree in dietary science.
Hasley is a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic church. She has traveled to every continent except for Antarctica.
