FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  True Love Baptist Church on Wallace St. in Fort Wayne celebrated New Year's Day by hosting the annual Gospel Bowl.

The event featured nationally-known preachers Donald Parson from Chicago and Brian Monford, Sr. from Lima, Ohio, who delivered their messages in front of dozens of people.

All the money raised goes toward the upkeep of Dr. Jesse White's memorial site. Dr. White founded the Gospel Bowl about 36 years ago.
