FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Downtown Improvement District celebrated culture and diversity in Fort Wayne Saturday. It was the International Blast Festival. It's a new spin on a block party that was held for several years at JK O’Donnell's Irish Ale House.
“In this process we’ve identified at least 24 different countries where there are significant populations of people living in our city, so we’re just trying to bring them together,” said Tena Woenker of the Downtown Improvement District.
The event featured live performances, artist booths, ethnic foods, and information the many different cultures in Fort Wayne.
