FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The National Weather Service created new maps to allow people to look at water levels in the case of a major flood event.
These maps help people find out where the flood waters could go around their home or in their neighborhood.
People can also use the maps to find a safer alterante route to escape when roads are blocked by flood water.
