FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne will host the first Batters & Bidders Picnic auction at Parkview Field on Friday, July 30. There will be over 100 items up for bid in a silent auction.
Items in the auction include:
• James Hardy jewelry
• Boflex Xtreme Home Gym
• Signed Ryne Sandberg jersey
• ½ hour training session with TinCaps batting or
pitching coach
• Pizza party for 25 from the Pint & Slice
• Bill Miller Golf carts
People can browse the selection during Friday night’s home game in the Lincoln Financial Event Center.
Tickets are $75 for adults and $20 for children (12 and under). All proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne.
There are currently three Boys & Girls Club locations in Fort Wayne that focus on core program areas of career exploration and educational enhancement, character and leadership development, the arts, health and life skills and fitness.
