Firefighters respond to vacant house fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire at 829 Wilt Street around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters said the fire started in the dining room, and was confined to a bathroom and dining room.

The fire was under control in around 15 minutes.

Firefighters said the the home was either vacant or abandoned and there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
