FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fire crews were called to a fire at 1318 Jones Street at around 4:20 p.m. Thursday.
When crews arrived at the scene, they found heavy smoke. Fire officials said the fire began in the basement and extended to the first and second floors through the air ducts. The fire was under control in 27 minutes.
Officials said the house was vacant.
Firefighters said nobody was injured.
