FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Firefighters were on the scene of a building fire at McCoy Bolt on Congressional Avenue Friday afternoon.

That's between Hillegas and Goshen Roads in Centennial Industrial Park.

Fire crews found the smoke coming from a vat at the back of the bolt factory.  They said the heater to keep the liquid, heat-treating material  warm in the vat either malfunctioned or caught fire.

Every one got out before crews arrived and no one was hurt.
