SPENCERVILLE, Ind. (WANE) Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire at The Tan Cafe in Spencerville Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the building at 6938 State Road 1 just before 4:00 p.m. It houses a diner and a tanning salon, which have been open for about six months.
Firefighters from several different departments responded to help and it took several hours to get the flames under control.
Fire crews believe it may have been a grease fire that spread to the ceiling.
No one was hurt.
