FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne Fire Department (FWFD) crews were called back out to a house fire on Eagle Street Sunday after it rekindled from the night before.

According to the FWFD, just before 1 p.m. Sunday, a neighbor on Eagle Street called 911 saying there was smoke coming from the attic at 1418.

Crews were called the night before after an electrical fire broke out. At the time, there was one person home, but they got out safely.

No one was home when the fire restarted Sunday.

Crews said there was heavy damage to the second floor.
