FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Train enthusiasts of all ages can see model train sets in action at Science Central Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. for the event.

Admission costs are $8 for adults, seniors and children ages 3-12.  Children two and under are free.

Various local model train groups will provide demonstrations. The Northern Indiana O-Scalers, Maumee Valley Model Railroad Club and Northeast Indiana N-Scalers are among the local groups.

The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society and the Three Rivers Heritage Council will also be on site to speak about the history of railroad transportation in Fort Wayne.

Operation Lifesaver will be available to educate visitors about train safety.

Science Central also happens to be a stop on the holiday weekend's Holly Trolley shopping tour of downtown. Shoppers receive a 20% discount off a single-item purchase in the center's Gift Shop, which is open to the public, from November 23-25.
