Dust collector explodes at Novae Corporation

MARKLE, Ind. (WANE) - Markle firefighters were called to Novae Corporation early Wednesday morning after a machine exploded inside the building.
Markle Fire Department Chief Duane Brumbaugh told NewsChannel 15 a dust collector exploded around 12:30 a.m. damaging several elbow pipes in the factory.
No one was hurt.
Brumbaugh said there was a fire during the explosion, but was mostly out when firefighters arrived.
Workers were able to continue inside the building once the fire department cleared the building.
Investigators will be at the building later Wednesday to try and determine a cause of the explosion.
Novae is a manufacturer of several types of trailers.
