BLUFFTON, Ind. (WANE) - Dozens of people stood outside of the Wells County Courthouse Saturday afternoon in a rally to support the Constitution, and especially the Second Amendment.
Ryan Studabaker, the organizer of the Bluffton Day of Resistance, said the event was not solely a gun rally, but instead a rally to support everything America stands for.
Studabaker said he got the idea to hold the rally from Augustus Alzona, a member of the Tea Party, after he posted on Facebook he planned to hold a rally on February 23.
"This isn't a Democratic thing, or a Republican thing, or a Tea Party thing, this is an American thing. This is about the rights this nation was founded on," Studabaker said.
Studabaker said he is thinking about organizing an event in Fort Wayne next month.
