"Don't Text & Drive" campaign heads to Washington, D.C.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Parkview Hospital's trauma prevention coordinator and four area teens are heading to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Teen Distracted Driving Prevention Summit.

Lori Hunt, trauma prevention coordinator, and her team will be sharing the "Don't Text & Drive" program with a national audience on Sunday, December 2.

The four teens will be meeting with federal and state leaders to learn about texting and driving and discuss preventive efforts.

The three day summit includes interactive training activities, workshops, and presentations.
