FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Families and expecting parents were having some fun out at the Coliseum Saturday and the 25th annual WMEE Baby Fair and Family Expo.
The event features everything for babies, kids and families. Parents can learn more about the new products and services out there for their child. Health officials were also there to talk about child safety and answer questions.
"It's fun, it's happy. It's a lot of excitement because whenever you bring a new addition into your family it's exciting but it's also terrifying," Nichole Roberts, a WMEE DJ, said.
There were also prize give-aways for mothers and things for older kids to do.
One of the highlights every year is the Diaper Dash.
Babies compete to see who can crawl to the other side of a racing area the fastest. There's usually a parent on each end trying to convince the baby to crawl to the other side. The baby who wins the Diaper Dash gets a $1,000 prize.
