Daylong Rock 'n' Reel Film Festival: Oct. 6 at Cinema Center

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Cinema Center and Neat Neat Neat Records & Music is hosting the Rock 'n' Reel Film Festival on Saturday, October 6 from noon to midnight at Cinema Center on E. Berry St.

The festival will feature five music documentaries in the theater, with additional documentaries and short films being screened in the Spectator Lounge.

There will be a live performance by the indie rock band Timber and a wrap party catered by Calhoun Street Soups, Salads & Spirits at 10:00 p.m. The party will include free hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

The cost for the entire day is $15. Passes are on sale now at Cinema Center and Neat Neat Neat Records & Music . Tickets for individual films are $5 and will be available at the door.

Featured films for the Rock ‘n’ Reel Film Festival include:

  • “Anvil: The Story of Anvil” at 12 p.m.
  • "I Am Trying to Break Your Heart” (about Wilco) at 2 p.m.
  • “LoudQuietLoud” (about the Pixies) at 4 p.m.
  • “The Other F Word” (about punk dads from Pennywise, Rancid and other bands) at 6 p.m.
  • “Dig” (a Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner about The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols) at 8 p.m.

The movies are open to all ages, but parental discretion is advised.
