FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Abby Lee Miller, owner of the renowned Abby Lee Dance Company, and star of the hit Lifetime television show "Dance Moms," visited Fort Wayne on October 20 and 21.

Miller and her dancers traveled from Pittsburgh to compete against local dance teams at the Fort Wayne Arts United Center . Miller said the theater was "spotless" and she "could not have asked for a better venue." The event was sold out.

On Sunday, October 21 Miller hosted two master dance classes which focused on proper leg and feet technique.

Miller was brought to Fort Wayne through the Cindy Friend Design Boutique in partner with In10sity Dance to aspire youth dancers in the Fort Wayne area.

When asked if the dancer's mothers on the popular reality TV show were really as crazy as they seemed on television, Miller responded by saying they were "completely nuts."

The "Dance Moms" episode that will feature Miller's visit to Fort Wayne is set to air on Jan. 9, 2013 at 9 p.m. on the Lifetime channel.
