FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Second Steps Craft & Gift Bazaar was held on Saturday, November 10 at the Second Steps Autism Resource Community Center.
The bazaar featured around 20 local vendors selling holiday gifts, along with the Sensory-Critters.com retail store, which offered special deals on its therapeutic and educational merchandise.
The event also offered supervision and activities for children with special needs so their parents could browse the craft booths.
Second Steps therapists volunteered to supervise the children.
The event also kicked off Second Steps ' first annual Giving Holiday Tree. The tree will display mittens for families who have children with disabilities and are in need this holiday season. Each mitten will have the ages and needs of the child listed on the back.
If you could not attend the craft bazaar, you can visit Second Steps any weekday to pick up a mitten and participate in the Giving Holiday Tree fundraiser.
