FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Nipsco donated $7,500 to Community Harvest Food Bank Wednesday.
Officials at the utility company said $5,000 of that came from the NiSource Foundation and the remainder was from Nipsco workers who raised money by holding bake sales and raffles.
The money will be used to provide 50 pounds of food plus a turkey to 100 needy families in northeast Indiana.
