Columbia City girl named PETA Kid's Cutest Vegan Kid

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WANE) - A young girl in Columbia City was recently named the Cutest Vegan Kid .

Five-year-old Ciera Leughmyer won the national title in a contest sponsored by PETA Kids . She beat out scores of contestants from across the country.

Ciera loves all animals, including her two cats, two dogs, four mice, a fish, and 10 rats, all of whom were rescued. She says she fully understands that the food that she chooses to eat didn't cause any animals to suffer, and she's downright proud of it.
