Coliseum ranked 25th in world in "Top Stops of the Decade"

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum was ranked 25th in the world among similar-sized venues on Venues Today's "Top Stops of the Decade" list.

The ranking was based on concert and event grosses from the last ten years.

“This recognition is the direct result of the consistent performance by our team and the steady support from the community. The marketing plan we initiated nearly 20 years ago is paying dividends," Memorial Coliseum Executive Vice President and General Manager Randy Brown said.

Facilities in the top five that are around the same size of the Memorial Coliseum for the past decade include:

1. Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Australia
2. Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall, New Jersey
3. John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario
4. Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan
5. Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand
