FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The City of Fort Wayne revealed the official plans a private developer has for the Anthony Wayne Building, located at 203 E. Berry Street, which will include retailers, parking space and condos.
Floors seven through fifteen will be transformed into upscale, one-and-two bedroom condos. They are estimated to range from just under 800 to just over 2,000 square feet and come in eight different floor plans.
Officials said each condo will have at least one and a half baths and are equipped with a full-size washer dryer. They will also feature the latest amenities including energy efficiencies and nearly floor-to-ceiling windows stretching from 18 inches above the floor to the nine foot high ceiling.
Literature from AWB Holdings said the condos will have an open look and feel to the flexible floor plan, stainless steel appliances and granite or cultured countertops in the kitchen and baths.
The master bedroom suites will have exterior glass walls, walk-in closets, double vanity sinks and a custom shower.
The parking garage’s fifth floor features a common area outdoor patio with views overlooking the Courthouse green, Freimann Square and Citizens Square.
The Anthony Wayne condos are expected to sell from $130,000 to $350,000.
The entire project is expected to wrap up in three to five years.
