FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Members of the Fort Wayne Street Rod Association presented a check, which included the proceeds from the Muddy River Run, to Turnstone Center for the Disabled on Sunday.

It gave Turnstone a check for $5,000. The Muddy River Run was held on July 28 in Fort Wayne.

Turnstone's goal is to empower people with disabilities through a variety of programs. The Street Rod Association also gave $1,500 to IPFW to help buy supplies for students with disabilities.

Over the past 28 years, the Fort Wayne Street Rod Association has donated over $450,000 to Turnstone.

Turnstone served ice cream sundaes to the Street Rodders at the ceremony.
