Carmike Cinemas to buy Rave Motion Pictures

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Carmike Cinemas, Inc. announced Monday that it will be purchasing 16 entertainment complexes based in seven states and 13 individual markets from Rave Reviews Cinemas, LLC.
This means the Rave Motion Pictures movie theater at Jefferson Pointe will now be owned by Carmike Cinemas.
Carmike also owns Carmike Cinemas on East Dupont Rd. in Fort Wayne.
Carmike Cinemas President and CEO, David Passman, said Rave employees will be able to keep their jobs.
This change will be completed by the end of the year.
