WABASH, Ind. (WANE) A bomb sniffing dog dispatched to Northfield Junior/Senior High School in Wabash found nothing after a note was found Wednesday morning on a toilet roll dispenser with a threat that the school would be blown up later in the day.
According to Superintendent Dr. Sandra Weaver, the message was found in a bathroom around 7:20 am and all of the students were evacuated from the building.
After the dog found nothing in the cafeteria, students were allowed to return there. An all clear for the rest of the school was given a short time later.
Police and school officials will look at video from surveillance cameras to try and find out who placed the note and Dr. Weaver said that person or persons will be prosecuted.
