FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  To increase awareness about prostate cancer, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana is encouraging all local men and businesses to participate in Blue Tie Day and wear blue ties to the office on Friday, September 14.

According to Cancer Services, one in every six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. It's detectable in early stages and can be cured.

Take a photo of yourself or a group at the office wearing your collection of blue ties and send the photos to Amber Recker at arecker@cancer-services.org .

Photos will be submitted for publication and also posted on Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana's blog. The group with the most people in blue ties will receive blue “count moments” bracelets for the entire team.
