FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Bishop Dwenger students, family, and friends gathered outside on the football field Monday afternoon to offer a Language Rosary for Life.
The rosary was almost 25 yards in length and made out of balloons. The school-wide event included some students holding balloons at the 50-yard line on the football field surrounded by the rest of the students and staff on the track.
After nine different languages (Gaelic, French, Portuguese, German, Spanish, Vietnamese, Latin, Japanese and Russian) were used to complete the rosary, the balloons were launched into the sky.
This was the second year the event was held at Bishop Dwenger High School.
