FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Biolife Plasma Services employees are collecting items for troops stationed overseas.
They're working on behalf of Operation U.S. Troop Support . That's a program put together by local teen, Alison Mansfield.
They're collecting toiletries, socks, hand warmers, snacks and other items for our troops.
"This is one of our favorites to support, naturally, because our troops are there for us. They are often forgotten so this is a very important cause,” said Jayna Hunter, Biolife Plasma Services.
You can drop off donations at the Biolife office at 7921 Coldwater Road now through December 1st.
Cash donations to help defray expensive international shipping fees are also needed. Checks should be made payable to Operation U.S. Troop Support, Inc.
For more specific ideas on items to donate, please visit www.operationustroopsupport.org
