FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Lots of people came to downtown Fort Wayne to go to the Barr Street Market Saturday.
The market's open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through September 15.
Gary Birch owns Old Fort Soaps and has had a booth at the market for the past four years. He said the market has more to offer than just a place to sell his products.
"It's also about meeting new people who coming to our city. Today we met somebody from Chicago, just moved here from Chicago about a month ago," Birch said.
The Barr Street Market has about 20 vendors and 500 shoppers every week. There are all kinds of produce, crafts, jewelry and other items all made in northeast Indiana.
